Our treatment philosophy for newborn and children

Pediatric osteopathy

Every beginning is difficult!

If only your baby could tell you what is wrong! It is difficult for us adults to imagine how newborns feel in their new surroundings. The new world is bright and loud – a total sensory overload. Many babies react to all of this with increased crying, sleep disorders, and feeding problems. If your baby just can’t be comforted at night, your parental delight over the newcomer will quickly be put to its first great test. Sleep deprivation and helplessness eventually snowball into exhausted despair.

Diagnosis

Good bad news

Countless advisors books give you many, but also contradictory, tips. And Doctor Google adds to the confusion with its flood of information. The pediatrician’s good news that everything will work out by itself is of little help. Because when your baby is inconsolable once again, this well-intentioned statement only feeds more self-doubt.

Therapy

A new approach

Enter osteopathy. After taking a detailed look at your child’s health history, the main task is to locate painful blockages in the musculoskeletal system and digestive tract.

These are balanced and harmonized with the help of gentle techniques. Based on the overall picture that applies to your child’s situation, we will provide you with specific measures with which you can improve how you interact with your child, and support effect of the treatment in everyday life. By explaining our osteopathic point of view, you will also receive important insights into your baby’s internal processes. Paired with new, practical tools, you will now be better equipped to deal with your newborn on a daily basis. In this way, you will regain confidence and ease of mind.

Indications

Holistic

Osteopathy for babies and children does not treat diseases in the true sense; rather, it addresses movement disorders in the broadest sense.

Pediatric osteopathy is not limited to treating individual symptoms, but always sees the person as a whole.

It is therefore not diseases that are treated, but people. Therefore, it does not make sense to give indications for osteopathy. The elimination of symptoms is essentially not the aim of the treatment; it is merely a result of the dissolution of restrictions of osteopathic dysfunctions of all kinds.
